ONLY 1 WEEK AWAY . . HOW MUCH MONEY HAVE YOU RAISED?
It's time for our major fundraising event, a Skate-A-Thon. The majority of players opted to participate in the Skate-A-Thon when they completed their registration form.
If you are unable to participate in the skate-a-thon, you still have the option to pay $50 and skip the fundraiser. The event will be Dec. 11th 6pm-8pm & 12th 3pm-5pm.
Please print this form and start asking for pledges/donations. Any questions, please let me know. Last season, 25 players
raised $4,500!! Let's beat that amount this season!

Coaches - Please remind your players about the Skate-A-Thon at practice this week.
TO: Parents and Players
1. Get friends, neighbors, relatives, co-workers etc. to sponsor the player. They can donate a flat pledge (ex: $25), or donate a specific amount for each lap completed in the time period. Use the donation form provided.
2. Fill in all information on the pledge form. You must be able to contact your sponsors after the Skate-a thon is over. This will also insure you are given proper credit for your hard work!
3. The skater is responsible for having someone at the SKATE-A-THON to count their laps!!!
4. Remember the idea is to skate as many laps as possible. The number of laps completed decides the amount of money you can collect from your sponsors.
5. Immediately after the SKATE-A-THON, the sponsors need to be contacted, and told how many laps were completed; they will be amazed! Remind them of what their pledge was, and give them the total amount due. Make sure your math is right! Collect the check/cash personally.
6. MAKE CHECKS PAYABLE TO MLYHA.
7. Once you have received all of your sponsors’ checks:
* Place checks and completed form, plus any other notes or information in an envelope.
* Give your pledge envelope to your coach or Jennifer Clark by Dec 22nd.
